Acid Reflux and Depression - There's a Link

By Christian Goodman

My new Acid Reflux program has given me amazing results!

Along with the overwhelming response to the program, I've also been fortunate to hear from some of you first hand to tell me of your experience with acid reflux and how my program has helped.

With any chronic condition such as acid reflux can be, one tends to notice themes when reading through client correspondence. One in particular is the accompanying depression symptoms that accompany chronic acid reflux.

Acid Reflux is also known as Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). In this the liquid or food omes up from the stomach and enters into esophagus and this creates pain and heartburn.

Actually these muscles act as a valve. These muscles stops liquids or food from entering into the esophagus when working properly. Closing and opening of the esophagus is done by lower esophageal sphincter (LED).

Chest pain, bad throat, dry cough, bad breath and difficulty swallowing are reported by them. Some people experience long term acid reflux disease but they don't experience heartburn.

For those who suffer from acid reflux two or more times per week, they are experiencing chronic acid reflux. This is not only inconvenient and painful; it can lead to long term health effects such as tooth enamel erosion, cancer, throat damage and respiratory damage.

people with chronic GERD have thirty percent extra chance of developing depression when only ten percentage of people suffering otherwise.

It is like one leads to another. Fearing acid reflux people do not eat much and they are afraid of going out with friends and this brings in depression.

Moreover, people do not to many things they would otherwise love to do. They just spend most of their time thinking about different ways to manage the problem.

Some times not so healthy lifestyles might lead to depression, which is just increased by GERD. Over drinking is an example. This is actually depressive and can bring acid reflux too.

Whether or not you suffer from depression in addition to your acid reflux disease, I highly encourage you to try the all natural Acid Reflux Relief program. There is no potentially dangerous medication involved and the results are guaranteed!
